One day at a time

5Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:5-7

Hot Sock Swap

Yea! I just received my Hot Sock Swap package from my swap partner in Norway. The package arrived in less than 5 days.

I LOVE the Regia sock colorway - it has lavendar, charcoal, yellow, lt green and orange colors . The pattern is wonderful, it is called "Badcaul" by Anna Bell. I have always wanted to try the magic loop sock method. Now I have a pattern to try this! This morning I had some Apple, Cinnamon and Raisin tea from the tea in the package. It was yummy! I am looking forward to trying the other flavors. The beads are so pretty on the stitch markers. Plus she sent me some woven trim. It is awesome. I love the design. I am going to have to find a way to use it so that it is highlighted!

This was my first swap and it was fun! I hope to do more in the future.

Hi,
thought I'd say hello since I found your site today from your book website. I have enjoyed reading your blog especially on the subject of knitting. I've even visited a few of your friends on the ring. I am not a big knitter but there is hope. I love your hot sock swap goodies. Maybe I need to find a swap to join, it sounds like fun.
Have a great evening and I'll stop in from time to time. ;D
