One day at a time

5Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:5-7

Fiddlers Green Paper Models

This web site has some really great models to print out and build. There are some very nice ones for free (some for a modest fee). We are currently working on the Spirit of St. Louis model as we are studing Charles Lindbergh. The models load as a .pdf file. I print them on cardstock.

more KNit projects completed

Here are my recently finished projects:

I have received so many compliments on this little scarf. I am going to make a few more soon, since I would like to give a couple as gifts. I love the pin I used to fasten the ends. This pin came from my great, great, aunt. I love vintage jewelry, especially if it was handed down from the family. This scarf was made using Coats and Clark "Trellis" (stained glass) and Triangle Ribbon Scarf pattern. My gauge is a tighter than the in the pattern picture. I think because my method of knitting is the English method I make my stitches tighter. I am learning the continental method and things are loosing up now.

Here is the finished product of the chenille wrap that I was previously working on. As you can see, It didn't turn out too bad.
