One day at a time

5Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:5-7

Kniting Socks

I am really excited about knitting socks. At first I thought that it was a silly idea, but after my first pair, I am excited to knit more. Here is a pic of my first pair.

Socks knitted using Italian Classic Elite Yarns - Isabella 70% cotton 30% light weight acrylic - these are more like slipper socks LOL! I used the Beginner Socks pattern from Knitting Pure and Simple

I joined a Knit-a-long through Townsend Socks Knit-a-long

I will be using BearFoot Hand-Painted Yarn from MountainColors in Meadow. It is a blend of 60% Superwash Wool 25% Mohair and 15% Nylon.
