A Word about my USED BOOKS --

I have tried to describe all major flaws, please realize that they are "used" books. Most books are described as "good". This means that the book is fully functional and sturdy. It does not mean that it is like new or in collectable condition. If you are looking for a collector condition book please let me know and I will give you a better detail. Please assume that all ex.lib books are not collector books.

I put forth my best effort to describe or grade my books according to ABE books and  the and other acceptable book grading scales such as the Independent Online Bookseller's Association.  I have paraphrased the scale I use below:

As New: To be used only when the book is in the same immaculate condition to which it was published.  (As a personal side note: some "new" books I have seen in Brick and Mortar Book stores aren't this good)

Fine (F): Approaches the condition of As New, but without being crisp. May have been carefully read and dustjacket may have been slightly rubbed or spine ends slightly bumped, but no real defects or faults.

Near Fine (NF):  meaning a book or dustjacket approaching FINE but with a couple of very minor defects or faults.

From her on, I may use +or- to further note book condition (as in G+ = little better than good not as good as Very good) - Exlibrary books with usual library markings (stamps and discard) and attachments will be noted and will only be graded VG or below.  

Very Good (VG): A used book showing some small signs of wear on either binding or dustjacket. Any defects/faults will be noted.

Good (G): The average used and worn book that has all pages or leaves present. Any defects must be noted. 

Fair (F): Worn book that has complete text pages (including those with maps or plates) but may lack endpapers, half-title, etc. All defects will be noted. 

Poor (P) or Reading Copy: A book that is sufficiently worn that its only merit is the complete text, which must be legible.  Major defects will be noted

***If you notice a book that I have described as Reading Copy Only. Please consider it only that. I wouldn't normally pick this condition of book up, but if I did, I have found it to be OOP, scarce and highly recommended.***

MAKING REQUESTS—HOLDING BOOKS --

Request to set books aside will be honored on a first come bases.  Please cut and paste entire book title description and price to the body of the email. Also include your shipping address. I will get back to you with available books and total including shipping. I will expect confirmation from you within 24 hours and payment within 7 days. Please let me know if you cannot confirm within 24 hours or pay within 7 days. I ship when payment is received or check clears (if I haven't done business with you before).  I ship at least once a week (usually Thurs.)  I accept Paypal and snail mail checks.

In the US -

Insurance: - Postal insurance is optional and is the buyers responsibility to request.  Fee is based on value of package as per the USPS. 

Outside the US- Please supply your address and I will be emailing you with your shipping options and pricing.   You can expect the prices to be higher than if I was to ship within the US .   For out of the US orders, the 0.50 handling fee will apply to any size order.
